TIVOLI: UNESCO SITES, GOLF & SPA

First day:

3:00 p.m. – Check-in at the Grand Hotel Duca d’Este ****

Entrance to the TIBI Spa facilities.

It is possible to replace the spa experience with entrance to the Terme di Roma, the Acque Albule, sulphurous thermal waters, extolled as far back as the time of Emperor Augustus for their extraordinary beneficial properties.

4.30 p.m. One of our drivers will pick you up to visit the Civic Archaeological Museum R. Lanciani. It houses significant artifacts from the Latin center of Corniculum; among the Classical-era materials is the Capitoline Triad, a rare marble depiction of Roman state deities seated on a ceremonial throne.

8:00 p.m. – Tasting dinner at a local restaurant in the heart of the city

Second day:

9:30 a.m. after breakfast

Access to the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio.

Free time for lunch.

3:30 p.m. – Meeting with the guide for a visit of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Villa Adriana. Built by Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, this grand and innovative architectural masterpiece reflects the emperor’s ideals of beauty. Discover the majestic and vast villa with its luxurious thermal baths, lush gardens featuring beautiful fountains, dining halls, libraries, opulent guest rooms, places of worship, and theaters.

Return trip to the hotel and check-in at TIBI Spa.

8:30 p.m. – Dinner at a traditional restaurant, located on the terrace overlooking the “Delightful horror” that inspired many 19th-century and 20th-century romantic poets.

Third day:

9:30 a.m. – After breakfast, access to the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club at Guidonia Montecelio.

Free lunch 

Afternoon: an unforgettable thrill! A fantastic two-seater paragliding flight with instructor, to enjoy from the sky the sunset over Rome! (time to be determined depending on the season).

Dinner in a restaurant in the city center.

Fourth day:

9:30 a.m. – After breakfast, meet your guide for a visit to Villa d’Este, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

The symmetry, geometric rules, and perfection of the Italian garden are sometimes concealed by lush nature and centuries-old trees. We will re-enact the glories of the Casata d'Este, the power games, the loves, the lavish banquets and the unbridled passion for ancient works of art that made Cardinal Ippolito II, the last prince of the Renaissance, secular.
