A travel idea: E-bike excursion, two nights in Tivoli

Here you will find a green proposal to spend three days in Tivoli and the Terre di Otium riding an e-bike, developed in collaboration with the Matteo Barra Gardiner Farm in Tivoli (matteobarragardiner@gmail.com) and the AEFULA Cultural Association in San Gregorio da Sassola (proietti.paolo61@gmail.com).

Day one:

Afternoon - Departure from San Gregorio da Sassola, e-bike excursion through olive groves with visit to aqueducts and abandoned olive grove restoration projects, aperitif at small olive farm.

Day Two:

Morning - departure from Tivoli, e-bike excursion through canals, vegetable gardens, pizzutello grape vineyards and the Roman bridge over the Aniene River. Take a visit of a pizzutello grape vineyard and learn about vegetable garden restoration projects, enjoy breakfast or lunch at small farm.

Afternoon - guided tour in the town of Tivoli on the canal route between the Aniene River, the factories, vegetable gardens and the Shrine of Hercules, aperitif “At the paper factories”.

Day three:

Morning - Departure from Tivoli, e-bike excursion to Ciciliano through the Giovenzano valley (or to Castel Madama through the Aniene valley), visit of forest restoration and beekeeping projects sites, lunch at local trattoria.
