Want to taste the territory?

One of the best ways to discover the culture of a place is undoubtedly through food. In the Terre di Otium, every small town has its own recipes, handed down from generation to generation. Food festivals and local celebrations are the best opportunities to taste traditional dishes, but trattorias and small local restaurants also offer excellent possibilities!

Aniene trout, spelt sagne pasta, ricotta and spinach ravioli, pizzarelle, lamb, grilled sausages.

Porcini mushrooms, truffles, wild asparagus, wild greens, ricotta, sheep’s and goat’s cheeses, and excellent honey.

And then there is the warm bread from local bakeries, savoury aniseed ring biscuits, biscuits, wine-flavoured ring biscuits, Mosciarella and Mosciarella beer.

And if you would like to keep things light, we recommend a lovely bruschetta seasoned with extra virgin olive oil!
